Caroline Wright started making botanical casts in 2020 and began selling them in 2021. Walking and gardening are so important to Caroline, and casting enables her to preserve the natural beauty of the flowers and foliage she encounters during these activities. The plants are pressed into clay and then removed to form a mold, which is filled with plaster of Paris. The size and shape of the casts are determined by the plants Caroline is working with. Some of her casts are framed in reclaimed wood.
