Kathryn Borg is a ceramic artist based in Willington, Derbyshire. Her work focuses on functional forms inspired by the natural world. Kathryn employs various ceramic handbuilding techniques such as pinching, coiling, and slabbing to create organic forms by incorporating elements from structure, colors, patterns in flora and fauna. She aims for her pieces to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing, using complementary glazes and different colored clays to achieve this balance.
