Richard Slater started his journey in leather craft with a desire to create products that buck the trend of our disposable society and produce items that will not only last but will develop a beautiful patina with age. Richard's products are minimal in design and are created with heritage skills, cut and saddle stitched by hand. He uses predominantly vegetable tanned leather, which is more eco-friendly and hard-wearing. Richard regularly attends his local Artisan/farmers markets and has displayed his products throughout Derbyshire at various artisan events.
