Simon Sneath is a full-time artist with a studio in Winster. Simon's work is strongly influenced by a visit to Japan, where many of his pieces are ceramic interpretations of different Japanese stone lantern styles and traditional forms as well as large plates, jars and bottles. He is currently creating large structures in black stoneware clay and porcelain, combining hand-building and thrown forms.
